Nancy E. Gibbs, 92, of Laconia, died on October 25, 2026, at St. Francis Nursing Home, concluding a life marked by faith, service, and family.
Born August 11, 1934 in Boston to Robert and Frances Braley, she is survived by her son Mark Dadian, daughters Christine St. Cyr and Victoria Gaouette, stepdaughter Kim Terrio, and brothers Richard and Alan Braley, while her husband Robert Gibbs, stepmother Anna Braley, sister Ruth Hands, and nephew Charles Hands preceded her in death.
According to her children, she devoted herself to prayer, believing that her intercessions brought her family to salvation and supported missionary work in over 14 countries.
She demonstrated a servant’s heart by fostering 23 children, training as a home health worker, and consistently putting others before herself despite ongoing physical challenges.
Gibbs will be interred at South Road Cemetery in Belmont, with a celebration of life scheduled for a later date and memorial contributions requested to Samaritan’s Purse.
