Patrick Rush, a 45‑year‑old man from Asylum Road in Derry, has been remanded and will appear at Derry Crown Court on December 3 charged with grievous bodily harm.
The charge arises from an incident on July 16 2022, after a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate’s Court where the case to answer was accepted and no contrary submissions were filed.
Rush did not call any witnesses or submit statements, and the court ordered his return for trial on the scheduled date.
