A Derry District Judge said a 69‑year‑old woman is seeking peace after years of harassment by her neighbour.
Anson Earle Dawick, 42, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order on 19 May 2026 after CCTV showed him banging on the woman’s gate and walls and making an abusive comment.
The judge noted that Dawick had made the woman’s life hell for 14 years, though she reported better sleep since he moved away, and sentenced him to three months’ imprisonment, suspended for three years, while imposing a restraining order that bars any contact or entry onto her street.
