A 27‑year‑old man has been returned for trial on a series of domestic‑abuse charges.
Alex Crawford, 27, of Kinsale Park in Derry, appeared at a preliminary enquiry in the local magistrate’s court and was charged with a course of domestic abuse occurring between April 1 and May 29 2026, non‑fatal strangulation on May 12, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on May 12 and May 25, and a threat to kill on May 25, after the magistrate ruled there was a case to answer.
He declined to call any witnesses or make a statement and was returned to Derry Crown Court in custody on December 3.
