Shirley Patricia deMontigny died on October 24, 2026, after suffering a stroke.
She was born in 1937 to the late Keith and Geraldine Mengel and is survived by three daughters, six grandchildren, two great‑grandchildren, a sister and a brother.
The family thanked the ICU staff at Concord Hospital and the Belmont EMT team for their care, and a private graveside service will be held in Otis, Massachusetts, in early spring 2027.
